Meet Andrew Grider, the President of Southern Sun Landscaping. Andrew's journey began in humble beginnings within a military household, born in Bury St. Edmunds, England. After his parents retired from the military, they moved to the beautiful Roanoke Valley in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Between the ages of 13 and 16, Andrew founded three landscaping companies: R&A Lawncare, Hire A Son Lawncare, and Andrew’s Home and Garden LLC. Though these early ventures were short-lived, they provided Andrew with invaluable experience and a strong foundation for future success.

Andrew excelled as a young entrepreneur and a dedicated student, graduating as valedictorian from Cave Spring High School in 2016. Following his passion for landscaping and customer service, he enrolled in Virginia Tech to study Building Construction. However, after two years, Andrew decided to leave college to fully commit to his true calling: running his own company. In 2017, he founded Southern Sun Landscaping.
